This course of seminars is made up of three modules: 1. Profiting from the Word We will look at how the Bible came to us, as well as its inspiration and authority and principles of interpretation. This provides the vital confidence and discipline for correctly studying and teaching God’s Word. 2. Bible Overview: King and Kingdom We will identify the unifying theme and motif of the Bible and trace it right through the Bible’s storyline. This provides the vital big picture context in which all our study and teaching of God’s Word needs to be done. 3. Text to Talk We will learn how to faithfully exegete any text or passage of Scripture in order to teach or preach from it. This provides the vital steps needed to correctly teach or preach God’s Word. |
